Vetstream selects veterinary expert to develop Bovis reference service

12th August 2015

Vetstream has announced that the qualified vet Ruth Clark will be spearheading the launch of the company's new point-of-care resource for cattle, Bovis.

Aimed at vets specialising in cattle and general livestock, Bovis will launch in the final quarter of 2016 and will complement its existing peer-reviewed clinical resources, including Canis for dogs, Felis for cats, Lapis for rabbits and Equis for horses.

These established services feature content from more than 900 leading veterinary clinicians from around the world. They are updated weekly and are accessible from any internet-enabled device.

Bovis will be the first of a range of livestock services to run alongside them. Currently, Ms Clark is developing a content plan for the new offering and sourcing potential contributors.

Having graduated from Liverpool Vet School in 2004, she can boast experience in large, mixed and small animal practices, as well as time spent working with the Royal Army Veterinary Corps.

Dr Mark Johnston, managing director of Vetstream, said: "She will be working with experienced clinicians as contributors and also with companies and associations in order to ensure that we develop a resource which is geared specifically to the requirements of livestock vets."ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801797404-ADNFCR
