Virbac appoints dermatology marketing manager

17th March 2011

Virbac Animal Health has appointed Bradley Phillips as the new marketing manager for its dermatology business unit.

Mr Phillips joins the company after a 24-year career with GlaxoSmithKline, where he was most recently employed as senior district sales manager.

During this time, he assisted with the sales and marketing of oncology, antibiotics, respiratory and allergy products, as well as acting as product manager for Imitrex, the pharmaceutical company's third billion-dollar brand.

Monique Schwartz, vice-president of marketing for Virbac, said Mr Phillips' decades of industry experience will make him a "huge asset" to the veterinary medicines company.

"We are excited to have him on board and look forward to how he can help Virbac best serve veterinarians with meeting the everyday dermatology needs of their clients," she added.

Last month, the company named Pfizer Animal Health veteran Heidi Lobprise as its new senior technical manager, a role that will see her take charge of developing relationships with opinion leaders.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800466822-ADNFCR
