Virbac extends shelf life of parasiticide Neoprinil

12th October 2015

Virbac has introduced a new shelf life extension for its recently launched parasiticide Neoprinil, thus minimising the risk of wasted product.

The eprinomectin pour-on solution can now be used for up to two years after first opening, adding flexibility and convenience for farmers and bringing it in line with Deltanil, its deltamethrin-based pour-on for cattle and sheep.

Neoprinil is indicated for use against internal and external parasites in cattle, including gut and lungworms, mange mites, sucking and chewing lice, horn flies and warbles.

It incorporates Virbac's award-winning Farmpack and Flexibag administration technology, offering easy application and freedom of movement for the farmer, as well as a zero-day withdrawal period in milk.

Brigitte Goasduf, Virbac's product manager for large animals, said: "We now offer a comprehensive and flexible parasiticide range administered with a dispensing system that sets a new standard for convenience and ease of use."

This will further increase the utility of Neoprinil, which was introduced in the UK in August 2015.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801802886-ADNFCR
