Virbac launches new Veterinary HPM Clinical Diets

4th April 2017

Virbac has announced the launch of its new range of Veterinary HPM Clinical Diets for domestic cats and dogs.

These new diets provide advanced nutritional management, based on a formulation high in protein and low in carbohydrate, with 90 percent of the protein being of animal origin to address the carnivorous needs of canines and felines.

The products are designed to be comprehensive yet compact, meaning veterinary practices can meet the main nutritional needs encountered in practice with just 15 products, making them easy to use while also reducing stock requirements.

With these diets, vets can support concurrent conditions, restore body composition and provide additional health benefits. Virbac is also offering a support package to accompany the range.

Andrew Connolly, pet food manager at Virbac, said: "We're really excited to introduce our new clinical diets to the profession as a genuine advancement in clinical nutrition."

This follows on from the company's successful launch of its Veterinary HPM Lifestage Diets last year.
