Virbac launches Prinovox kids’ activity booklets to engage them in parasite control
Virbac has announced the launch of the second of its regular Kids Club activity booklets for users of its prescription-only spot-on ectoparasiticide Prinovox.
The booklet is provided to children of practice clients using Prinovox and provides information on the various parasites that pose a threat to pets, using a variety of colourful characters and a crime investigation story setting.
By taking part in competitions, collecting items and completing a new activity booklet four times a year, participants in the Kids Club will become more educated on animal health issues while learning about the benefits Prinovox can offer.
Launched in April, the ectoparasiticide is licensed for the treatment and prevention of lungworm, fleas, lice, mites, heartworm and roundworm, as well as fleas, mites, roundworm and heartworm in cats and for fleas and heartworm in ferrets.
Simon Boulton, head of marketing for Virbac, said: “We have had great feedback from practices about the enthusiasm of children to get involved with the Kids Club and we are sure they will enjoy the educational activities in the new booklet.”
The launch of Prinovox and the recently introduced wormer Milpro means that Virbac now offers both an oral or spot-on solution for the treatment and prevention of lungworm.
