Virbac takes over distribution of ectoparasiticide Activyl

Virbac has announced that it has become the new distributor of Activyl, a move that will expand its growing parasiticide portfolio.

The prescription-only products are available in three spot-on preparations: the flea control products Activyl for Dogs and Activyl for Cats, plus Activyl Tick Plus, a targeted tick and flea control aid for canines.

Based on the active ingredient indoxacarb, they are effective against developing flea life stages in the immediate environment of the pet.

Activyl is the latest addition to a broad parasiticide portfolio that also includes Indorex, the UK's leading household flea spray, as well as the palatable wormer Milpro and the award-winning prescription-only endectoparasiticide Prinovox.
