Virbac’s ParvoAlert brand to sponsor PupAid Fun Dog Show
Virbac has announced that its free social-media based service ParvoAlert will be sponsoring the PupAid Fun Dog Show in London this September.
This will be the third year in a row that ParvoAlert has sponsored the show, which is held in support of PupAid, a campaign run by TV vet Marc Abraham to highlight and ban puppy farming in the UK.
ParvoAlert aims to raise awareness of canine parvovirus among both vets and pets owners and has almost 8,000 likes on Facebook, with a recent post reach of nearly 40,000. Dog owners and staff can use it to educate others on the disease by telling others about where outbreaks have occurred.
Additionally, tie-in packs are shared by Virbac with every veterinary practice in the area, with a range of support materials to help them alert clients and other owners in the region.
Sarah Walker, the product manager at Virbac who oversees ParvoAlert, said: "We are determined to raise awareness to dog owners of the devastating impact of the disease and to remind owners to stay alert, take sensible precautions and the best way to protect their dogs is to vaccinate them."
