Virgo Consumer Health wins Durex brief with Reckitt Benckiser

Virgo Consumer Health has been handed the UK account for the leading contraceptive brand Durex by the personal care and consumer products company Reckitt Benckiser.

The agency will be tasked with launching a range of products and initiatives for the brand, as well as running its press office, with the contract representing Virgo's third major account win with Reckitt Benckiser, reports PRWeek.

In addition to its Durex work, Virgo has been tasked with delivering a cross-brand campaign and brand-specific activities for Reckitt Benckiser's personal care portfolio, which includes the Scholl, Veet, E45, Clearasil and Optrex ranges.

It is also covering PR for the group's healthcare offerings Nurofen, Nurofen for Children, Lemsip and Strepsils in the UK.

Virgo associate director Natasha Weeks said: "It is rewarding to work in partnership with a firm that is genuinely forward-thinking and prepared to be really adventurous."
