Vizgen and Scale Biosciences Forge Innovative Collaboration for AGBT

Vizgen, a biotechnology company specializing in spatial omics solutions and offering technology for spatial transcriptomics to analyze gene expression within tissue samples, has unveiled a collaboration with Scale Biosciences.  

Scale Biosciences is a biotechnology company that provides an integrated platform for developing and manufacturing cell-based therapies at scale.  

The collaboration is set to merge their cell-based treatments and spatial devices in preparation for the Advances in Genome Biology and Technology 2024 General Meeting, which is scheduled to take place in Florida.  

By using datasets that match or correspond to each other, the company is able to combine Vizgen’s specialized information about neurons with ScaleBio’s comprehensive data on individual cells. This combination allows for a more thorough analysis of cells with low abundance and a broader understanding of gene expression in relation to spatial mapping and cell types.
