VPMA to offer guidance on performance reviews in special session

29th January 2014

The Veterinary Practice Management Association (VPMA) is to host an afternoon meeting this March to help animal health practices to implement more effective review programmes.

Taking place in March in Kilmington, Devon, the event will be hosted by practice manager of Pelyn Vet Group and VPMA regional coordinator Renay Rickard and will help managers who are struggling to get to grips with conducting performance reviews.

Advice will be given on how to develop an engaging and robust appraisal system, including induction processes, use and development of job descriptions, goal-setting and key performance criteria.

The seminar comes as part of a wider series of regional VPMA meetings and will also include health and safety updates from Mike Woolnough from Peninsula Business Services.

"Renay will emphasise how to engage the practice team into the review process, so that it becomes something that staff actively look forward to," said the organisation.

The VPMA is the professional association for veterinary practice managers both in the UK and internationally. It runs an active network of regional events across the country to help veterinary sector stakeholders to meet, learn and share ideas.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801687806-ADNFCR
