W Communications’ tech industry head steps down

16th September 2013

W Communications has confirmed that its tech division head Nick Grange has stepped down from his full-time role with the agency.

PRWeek reports that the firm will not be seeking a direct replacement for Mr Grange, who will continue to work with W in a consultant role.

He joined the company in January 2013 to spearhead its new technology business unit and strengthen its social media offering, allowing the agency to benefit from his two decades of experience in the field of consumer technology.

Previously, he handled iPad PR for Apple for 18 months and led campaigns for games such as Call of Duty with Activision, while he has also been credited with establishing Microsoft's Xbox brand in the UK.

W's founder Warren Johnson said: "Nick has done an incredible job of setting up our technology division, which now boasts clients such as Huawei, Jambox and Siemens."

Other companies that work with W include major brands like Nickelodeon, Viacom, the Independent, Toyota, Esquire, Elle, Jack Wolfskin and the London Evening Standards.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801637773-ADNFCR
