WAE hires non-executive director to drive healthcare sector growth

WAE has announced the appointment of Tracey Barr, an experienced healthcare comms professional, as a non-executive director.

Ms Barr will help the agency launch its offering in the healthcare sector over the coming year, serving in a mentoring capacity and also working alongside senior management to devise the best strategy for developing its healthcare presence.

A leading strategic advisor with a track record in healthcare spanning 25 years, Ms Barr has provided expert advice and project leadership, management and support to a diverse range of healthcare projects for both private and public sector clients.

She was previously the managing director of a privately-owned corporate communications company and held numerous senior management roles with Arthur Andersen, while most recently she was the programme lead for Better Health For All, an initiative promoting the role of digitalisation in encouraging healthier choices and delivering better care.
