Watermeadow Medical takes on six new recruits

Watermeadow Medical has signalled its continued expansion by announcing that six members of staff joined the firm in November.

The new employees have taken up roles in the consultancy’s editorial department and are all based in Manchester.

According to Watermeadow, the recruitment drive followed a period of “continued revenue and business growth” for the company, which was named medical education consultancy of the year at the 2009 Communique Awards in July.

The firm said that each of the new employees possesses “a wealth of experience from other medical communications agencies and academic research”.

In October, Watermeadow expanded its events team with two new members of staff after witnessing significant growth in this area of its business.

Karen Robinson, the consultancy’s senior project manager for events, said that 2009 had been “an excellent year for events at Watermeadow”.

The firm has been working with clients in the international healthcare industry since 1996 and also has offices in Oxford and New York City.
