Waters and Dani Instruments agree chromatography alliance

Waters and Dani Instruments have announced a new integrated and compatible network linking their chromatography products, a move that will benefit their respective customers.

The alliance will allow the Waters Empower Chromatography Data Software solution to provide control for Dani's Headspace and Gas Chromatography instruments, joining the many vendor systems that function with this software.

This offers a number of advantages for scientists that use these systems, as they can now rely on a single data management tool to control a broad range of chromatographic modules, rather than multiple software packages.

Waters has stated that will be working closely with Dani and other companies to ensure support of the newest firmware for analytical instruments.

Umberto Saini Fasanotti, president at Dani Instruments, said: "The cooperation between Dani and Waters will provide Empower Software users with access to the unmatched productivity and reliability of a multitude of Dani products."

This comes after Waters implemented a series of enhancements for its Alliance high-performance liquid chromatography system last month, in response to customer demand.
