Waters appoints new chief financial officer

Waters has announced the appointment of Sherry Buck as its new senior vice-president and chief financial officer (CFO), effective as of January 9th 2017.

Ms Buck will join the company from the tableware manufacturer Libbey, where she has served as CFO for more than four years. In this role, she has been responsible for financial strategies, IT and worldwide finance organisation.

Prior to joining Libbey, Ms. Buck spent nearly 20 years at Whirlpool Corporation in a number of leadership roles, and can therefore boast considerable experience of serving in high-ranking finance roles.

She has been selected as the successor to Eugene Cassis, who has been Waters' CFO since February 2014. He will transition to a senior advisory role following Ms Buck's arrival.
