Waters to unveil new product innovations at ASMS 2015

Waters is unveiling a number of new technologies and innovations at the annual conference of the American Society for Mass Spectrometry (ASMS).

The company is showcasing its latest separations and ionisation technologies for high-resolution mass spectrometry at the meeting, including its new benchtop tandem Vion IMS QTof mass spectrometer.

This device features ion mobility and a REIMS Research System with iKnife Sampling, combining direct-from-sample ionisation with high-performance time-of-flight spectrometry capabilities.

Gary Harland, director of mass spectrometry product management at Waters, said: "Vion IMS QTof empowers laboratories to respond better to analytical challenges and succeed in meeting their scientific and business objectives."

Also on display will be the first-of-its-kind Oasis PRiME HLB, the latest addition to Waters' line of solid phase extraction products, plus the ACQUITY UPLC Glycoprotein BEH Amide protein separation column for glycan analysis.

Other new offerings include version 1.8 of the UNIFI Scientific Information System, which has been updated to support Vion IMS QTof, while adding several other features.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801789520-ADNFCR
