WE Communications handed new brief by BenevolentAI

6th February 2018

WE Communications has won a new brief with the artificial intelligence company BenevolentAI, following a four-way pitching process.

The British firm is based in the knowledge quarter of London, with a business focus on health and drug development. It has hired WE Communications to bolster its public profile across the UK through strategic media relations and content marketing.

Specifically, the agency will be tasked with supporting BenevolentAI's integrated comms, leading the account from its London base. WE Communications succeeds Red Consultancy in this role.

James Chandler, vice-president of corporate affairs at BenevolentAI, said WE Communications was chosen for the brief after impressing with its strategic thinking, ability to stay on brief and strong passion for the company's goals.

Laura Gillen, head of technology and corporate at WE, said: "Our agency's mission to work with disruptive brands at the intersection of health technology aligns with BenevolentAI's exciting progress using AI to bring enormous benefits to society and we can’t wait to shine a light on everything they're doing."
