Weber Shandwick health leader promoted to expanded role
Weber Shandwick has handed additional responsibilities to its London health practice leader Lucie Harper as part of a client-focused corporate restructuring.
The agency has amalgamated its London operations into a single financial entity, with the five profit and loss accounts it previously operated in the UK for its different practice areas now combined into one, reports PRWeek.
Ms Harper, who has led the agency’s health practice for a decade, has been named managing director for London client experience and health as part of this reorganisation.
In this new-look role, she will continue to lead the health practice, but will also work with Weber Shandwick's global client experience team to help provide a higher standard of service to customers worldwide.
Additionally, the agency's former managing director of consumer marketing Emma Thompson will take on an expanded role as managing director for London operations and consumer, with Kate Sarginson and Lisa Henry named as deputy heads of its consumer and healthcare practices respectively.
Rachel Friend, managing director of Weber Shandwick London, said: "I am delighted to promote Lucie and Emma into these important new roles to enable us to stay ahead of our competitors and put our clients and innovation at the heart of every decision we make."
