Winners of 2017 PM Society Digital Awards announced

20th September 2017

GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis, the Health Hive Group and 90TEN have all been named among the winners of this year's PM Society Digital Awards.

At a ceremony in London earlier this month, GlaxoSmithKline's My PAH mobile app – which was developed alongside partner agency The Earth Works – won the healthcare partnerships prize, while its MyAsthmaApp received an Inspiration Award.

Novartis, meanwhile, received an award for best film for its COPD Life is Calling campaign, with the company's Sandoz division receiving a corporate communications prize for its HACk Healthcare Access Challenge.

Other pharmaceutical companies that earned gold awards included Bayer, Merck Sharp and Dohme and Teva, while agency winners included Four Health Media, which took home the leading prize of digital team of the year.

Additionally, 90TEN won two gold awards for its HIV Prime campaign, with the Health Hive Group earning two golds and a silver for a VR simulation training experience.

Rachel Farrow, co-chair at the PM Society and leader of the PM Society Digital Awards, said: "The wide spread of awards across the agencies showed that there is no single standout provider in healthcare digital – there are numerous highly talented agencies for the industry to work with."
