World Hepatitis Alliance hails success of RedPill online video campaign

29th July 2014

The World Hepatitis Alliance has hailed the potentially lifesaving benefits of a successful new video campaign it launched alongside social media specialist RedPill.

Entitled Think Again, the RedPill-created video went online on July 15th 2014 in the lead-up to World Hepatitis Day and proved a viral hit, accumulating more than 450,000 views on YouTube so far.

Featuring the contributions of lounge singer Richard Cheese and puppeteer Lejo, the musical video provides a light-hearted yet informative avenue for raising awareness of hepatitis, with an interactive ending that encourages viewers to learn more, reports The Drum.

The World Hepatitis Alliance is determined to continue educating people on the causes, prevention and treatment of viral hepatitis, which is the world's eighth biggest global killer.

Charles Gore, chief executive of the World Hepatitis Alliance, said: "Viral hepatitis is all too often ignored and overlooked, but actually kills more people than HIV/AIDS every single year. The more people that are reached by this video, the more lives we may save."

RedPill has extensive experience of creating social media content for high-profile brands, including the likes of Procter and Gamble, Unilever, Which?, RAC, EA, Holiday Inn and more.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801738312-ADNFCR
