Zoetis hires new account manager for north-east region
Zoetis has announced the return of Tim Rayner to the company to serve as its new account manager for the north-east of England.
He has been tasked with further enhancing the firm's offering for veterinary practices in this region, having worked at the forefront of the animal health industry for the past 25 years.
My Rayner originally joined SmithKline prior to its acquisition by Pfizer, where he became the first business development manager for the corporate and charity sectors at Pfizer Animal Health, Zoetis' predecessor company.
After 15 years with Pfizer, he worked for YorkTest and Animalcare as head of sales operations, which involved working very closely with vet practices to develop protocols and growth strategies, while also spending time as a practice manager for a large veterinary group.
Ned Flaxman, business unit director at Zoetis, said: "Tim has enormous experience in helping veterinary practices to grow their business, so we're honoured to have him back in the Zoetis team and working across a range of accounts."
