Zoetis launches fundraising scheme for Royal Agriculture Benevolent Institution
Zoetis has announced the launch of a new fundraising campaign to support the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) and the Royal Scottish Agricultural Benevolent Institution.
A 10,000 pound donation has been provided to kick off the scheme, which will help to raise awareness for the charity and highlight the ways in which it works to help the farming community.
The company will take part in the various campaigns run by RABI over the next 12 months, including the Farmhouse Breakfast, Great British Beef Week, Cream Tea Campaign and Welly Week.
Sam Gayton, ruminants business unit director at Zoetis, said: "This is a charity very close to our hearts and one we will be pulling out all of the stops to support over the coming year."
RABI is a welfare charity that offers support for farming people of all ages when they encounter financial difficulty, with help provided through one-off payments, regular grants or supplying essential household items or disability equipment.
It is currently supporting 1,500 farming families, providing two million pounds of financial help.
