Zoetis launches new PetDialog mobile app in UK

22nd November 2013

Zoetis has announced the UK launch of PetDialog, a new smartphone-based health management app for companion animals, at the London Vet Show.

The app allows pet owners to manage their pet's health on the go, offering features such as a calendar where owners can see upcoming appointments and view treatment reminders, while recording data on exercise, dietary and weight patterns over a long period of time.

Moreover, it is a white label app that vet practices can tailor using their own branding and market to their clients, thus improving the relationship between vets and consumers.

The launch of PetDialog and its sister app HorseDialog, for use by equine practices, comes at a time when smartphones are becoming increasingly ubiquitous.

John Toole, product manager at Zoetis, said: "With the help of our customers, we plan to re-invest in a robust development stream to ensure the app becomes a valuable tool for pet owners and practices alike."

The company is the former animal health business of pharmaceutical giant Pfizer and was spun off into an independent business earlier this year.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801664250-ADNFCR
