Zoetis names new account manager for south-east England

Zoetis has announced the promotion of Mike Ellinger to the role of account manager, working with veterinary practices in south-east England.

The business management graduate joined the company in August 2010 as an intern, before taking on a permanent role as a marketing assistant following his graduation and later becoming an associate product manager.

Following this, he embarked on an 18-month secondment as a product manager within the firm's marketing department, where he was responsible for the prevention portfolio, including the recent highly successful launch of the Versican Plus vaccine range.

Ned Flaxman, companion animal business unit director at Zoetis, said: "Mike is a real asset to Zoetis and his product manager experience will stand him in very good stead for his new account manager role."

He added that this is demonstrative of the opportunities the company offers in terms of career progression and development.

This comes after Zoetis appointed Rachael McErlain, Emma Tidball and Victoria Dawson as account managers within its equine team last month.
