Are you a recent Graduate in Biomedical Engineering? Or perhaps a Junior Biomedical Engineer looking for definite progression?
If so, then this is the opportunity for you! Our client are looking to recruit for a dedicated Junior Biomedical Field Service Engineer in Northamptonshire. You will be part of a close-knit team working alongside an experienced Field Service Engineer across Community services in Northamptonshire.

Role Requirements
– Performing scheduled preventative maintenance (pm) on medical equipment as per manufacturer’s guidlines.
– Complete repairs as required on medical equipment as per manufacturer’s guidelines.
– Administrative work needed to close repairs and preventative maintenance.
– Travelling to various sites as required to perform corrective and preventative maintenance.
– Maintaining safe working practices within the hospital environment.
– Maintaining spare part stocks wherever necessary.
– Supporting the Field Service Engineer as needed.
– Scheduling and completing workload for assigned customers.
Person Specifications
– Qualification in Electronical and Electronic Engineering (BTEC/Level 3) OR equivalent entry in HNC in Electical & Electronic Engineering
– Confidence in working on various pieces of medical equipment (i.e. BP Monitor, Pulse Oximeter, ECG, thermometers & defibs.
– Minimum of 6 months experience working with lower level patient monitoring equipment.
– Experience working in a clinical environment involving patient communcation.
– A full, clean UK driving licence.
– Excellent customer service skills.
– Willingness to travel to sites across Northamptonshire and also to Bedford & Peterborough.
