Role Overview

Day to day
· Perform schedules preventive maintenance (PM) on medical equipment as per manufacturer’s guidelines.
· Working on a range of biomedical equipment including diathermy’s, theatre equipment, Infusion pumps and syringe drivers
· Complete repairs as required on medical equipment as per manufacturer’s guidelines
· Complete associated admin needed to close repairs and PMs
· Standard Operating Procedures
· Travel to various sites as required to perform Corrective and Preventive Maintenance
· Maintain safe working practices within the hospital environment
· Exceed contract KPI’s to ensure customer satisfaction

Role Requirements

We have a new opportunity with one of the leading providers healthcare technology management. They are looking to grow their Biomedical Field Service Engineering team in Cambridge surroundings.

Are you a biomedical engineer with more than 2 years’ experience? If so, this sounds like you could be the one!

Person Specifications

What do we need from you?
· 2 years minimum in Biomedical Engineering
· Ideally an engineering qualification
· Experience with travel and happy to be flexible when needed
· Ambitious individual that is looking to develop their career in the health care sector

Package

Package
· 6,000 car allowance + mileage (home to site and back again – 20p a mile for diesel, 16p for petrol).
· 25 days + bank holidays
· Pension – 3% employee, 5% employer after 3 months (Royal London)
· 9-5 (some flexibility required)
· 4x death in service
· Laptop and phone provided
