Role Overview

Are you an electro-mechanical service engineer who has an engineering qualification and looking to join a growing global company?

A market leader within the healthcare water treatment and purification space is looking to add a field service engineer to their team in Scotland, looking for applicants to be based in Inverness.

Role Requirements

· As a Service Engineer you will be required to give our clients the best in class quality service across hospital and laboratory sites in the region.
· You will provide on-site corrective/preventative maintenance and offer after-sales technical and commercial support across our range of systems.
· To always present a professional image to customers whether by telephone, in writing or in person.
· To develop and maintain good working relationships with customers ensuring you are always punctual, helpful and courteous.
· Timely reporting to Service Manager on progress or delays.
· Timely completion and submission of risk assessments work reports, activity reports, site tasks and all other documentation as required.
· Liaise with the appropriate sales team on any potential leads.
· To carry out commissioning work on standard equipment.

Person Specifications

· Experience of having worked as a Service Engineer – ideally within the water treatment sector (site or field-based). The company have also hired: ex-military, coffee machine, vending machine, white goods, refrigeration, ATM, telecoms engineers previously, to name some sectors.
· A formal engineering qualification.
· A full UK driving license is required.
· Passionate about providing a first-class service to our customers and excellent time management skills
· Able to handle challenging conversations with customers and find a resolution.
· Strong communication skills both verbally and written, with the versatility to communicate at all levels in a clear and concise manner.
· A good level of IT competency.

· Salary up to £35,000 (depending on experience)
