Role Overview
Your role will be to:
– Support my clients ambitious growth plans by developing our Engagement and Marketing strategy.
– You will lead a small in-house marketing team
– Liaise with other colleagues/marketing agency/other stakeholders to drive our brand engagement and strengthen my clients presence within relevant academic and commercial markets.

Role Requirements
You will:
– Represent the company at a range of networking events – online and in person throughout the UK and overseas
– Develop our internal communications to ensure the regular sharing of achievements, good practise and other company updates
– Identify and introduce new clients, suppliers, products or markets to the appropriate team and support the development of existing business relationships.
– Organise the company spotlight and training update programme to enhance knowledge and outputs across the company
– Rapidly develop the sector knowledge
– Work with Directors and SLT to review management of Company and achieve the goals outlined in the Company Development Plan
Person Specifications
General requirements and background needed:
– Experience in using a range of communication and engagement methods to build, and deepen client relationships within science and technology sectors
– Previous marketing experience, preferably gained within the B2B scientific research or technology domains, with proven ability to identify, and develop new business relationships
Science and Technology Sector knowledge:
– Ideally have a good knowledge of innovation taking place within material and physical science and engineering
– Experience of working with Academic Institutions, R & D Companies, and manufacturers.
