Our client, a leading digital-focused healthcare communications agency based in London, Paddington, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Director to join their dedicated team.
Role Requirements
Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their trusted advisor and strategic partner. Understand their business goals, challenges, and market trends to develop and implement effective digital communication strategies.
Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to account teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Mentor and support team members, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work that meets client expectations.
Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive account plans aligned with client objectives. Identify new opportunities for account growth and expansion. Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative and tailored digital strategies that drive engagement, brand awareness, and measurable outcomes.
Project Management: Oversee the successful execution of client projects, ensuring deliverables are met on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Manage resources effectively and efficiently to optimize project outcomes.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the healthcare industry. Lead the development of proposals, pitches, and presentations, showcasing the agency’s capabilities and value proposition. Collaborate with the business development team to drive revenue growth.
Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, advancements, and regulatory changes in the healthcare and digital marketing industries. Provide insights and thought leadership to clients and internal teams.
Person Specifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications and / or life sciences, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in account management within a digital-focused healthcare communications agency or related industry.
Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, including regulatory considerations and compliance requirements.
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate client goals into actionable digital marketing strategies.
Exceptional leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully managing account teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex ideas to clients and internal stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in driving business growth and successfully managing client relationships.
Proven project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage resources effectively.
Passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends and best practices.
Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, analytics tools, and social media channels.
