We are currently seeking a highly skilled Account Director to join our client’s renowned medical communications agency and take charge of their exceptional portfolio of clients.

As an Account Director, you will play a pivotal role in the agency’s success by leading and managing key client accounts and ensuring the flawless execution of projects from inception to completion. Your strategic thinking, exceptional communication skills, and ability to build strong relationships will be critical in driving client satisfaction, fostering growth, and maximizing revenue opportunities.

Role Requirements

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, building and maintaining strong client relationships based on trust and credibility.

Lead and inspire cross-functional project teams, providing strategic direction, guidance, and support throughout the project lifecycle.

Collaborate closely with clients to identify their unique needs, objectives, and challenges, and develop tailored solutions that align with their business goals.

Oversee the development and execution of strategic communication plans, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet and exceed client expectations.

Proactively identify growth opportunities within existing accounts, driving organic business growth and expanding our services.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, regulations, and scientific advancements, and provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients.

Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing, professional development, and a culture of excellence.

Person Specifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., life sciences).

Minimum of 4 years experience in medical communications, with a proven track record of success in account management and business development.

In-depth understanding of the healthcare industry, including pharmaceutical marketing, medical education, and regulatory guidelines.

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to deliver exceptional results.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a knack for problem-solving.

Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
