Account Manager
Role Overview
This is a role for someone who wants to join a dynamic growing business which has already made significant progress in the NHS. As a result of customer acquisition and product expansion, we are looking to help recruit a new Account / Customer Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to come in and make customer/ account management run more efficiently and deliver much greater customer satisfaction and more revenue for the business, working with a range of different NHS and private customers.
This role is about building stronger relationships with our existing customers (predominantly NHS initially) by understanding and representing their needs to the business and ensuring that these needs get satisfied. It’s about broadening our networks within the customers and expanding our platform and product usage, resulting in increased revenues.
Company Information
Our client is a remote patient management platform which enables clinicians to assess, monitor and rehabilitate patients more efficiently. The platform is across a number of therapy areas and is currently being used in over 35 NHS Trusts and multiple ICS, as well as working with private clinics, pharma and medical device companies.
Role Requirements
Responsibilities
-/ Be able to represent the company with different customers across all of the products including demoing any and all of them and describing their value propositions and key features and benefits
-/ Manage and maintain an overall market plan and individual account plans for each customer
-/ Communicate product information and updates to existing customers; act as point of escalation for customer support requests and provide ongoing insights into prioritised customer needs.
-/ Identify and recommend new material for development to support every stage of the customer lifecycle, from sales to support
-/ Answer information governance, legal and support questions during the sales process and add those to our FAQs and internal processes
-/ Work with the Operations Manager to establish systems and processes for disseminating product information, patient data and obtaining and organising feedback
Person Specifications
Qualifications – University graduate with 2:1 and above.
Experience
-/ Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience in the healthcare industry and ideally at least a couple of years in the digital health sector.
-/ Proven success selling or upselling products into both NHS and private hospitals, ideally with a strong network of relationships in the NHS.
-/ Track record of successfully making sales and establishing strong customer relationships.
