Account Manager, Ireland
This is an outstanding opportunity for an enthusiastic account manager to take ownership of established accounts in Ireland and identify new customers and markets. You will be passionate about establishing strong relationships, driven and keen to increase revenue from your allocated area. We are looking for our future star – somebody who would like to progress and develop within our progressive and expanding business.
You will be home based and travelling extensively throughout the Island of Ireland, with some international travel required.
Working within the Laboratory Products and Services business area you will be focused on selling laboratory instrumentation and consumables to the Applied Research Market, this is to say laboratories in the following industries:
Food and Beverage Testing Laboratories, Chemical and Petroleum, Automotive and Transportation, Personal Care, Test and Analyser Systems, Noble Metals, Semiconductors and Plastics, Medical and Technical Devices, Hospital Pharmacies and Clinical Laboratories, Agricultural Research Laboratories, Contract and Government Testing Laboratories and Environmental Laboratories.
What you will accomplish together with us:
This is a proactive, creative selling role requiring a keen technical interest in customers’ processes and acting as a consultant to improve quality and save our customers time and money. This is a solutions sales role
Working both in a direct sales role and supporting our distribution partners throughout your sales aream Selling precision laboratory balances, ultrapure water systems, microbiology products, laboratory filtration products, and micro pipettes.
Proactively managing a limited and defined range of accounts throughout Ireland on a key account basis Working closely with decision makers and purchasing contacts at all levels and across all functions
Expanding your networks and selling/ upselling additional products and services
Providing technical information and support
Organising demonstrations
Completing quotations and negotiating deals
Working closely with wider sales and support teams
What will convince us:
Ideally demonstrated field sales experience in the laboratory market; some laboratory-based experience is mandatory
Ideally demonstrated field sales experience in the laboratory market; some laboratory-based experience is mandatory
Technical background
A degree in life sciences or equivalent; higher level qualification would be beneficial
Ideally experience in selling capital instrumentation to clients in different or related sectors
Focused on meeting sales targets and deadlines
Capable of providing outstanding customer service
Highly enthusiastic, self-motivated and conscientious
Results orientated – motivated by winning orders and hitting targets
