Account Manager
Role Overview
Covering the South UK territory, you will be responsible for selling a variety of lab products (consumables or equipment) to academic, pharma and biotech laboratories.

Role Requirements
Lead and execute the agreed sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market share gain within the territory.
Be the primary contact for customers and engage with them to ensure business and opportunities are maximised – both competitor and retention accounts.
Provide activity and business feedback as required with emphasis on managing a pipeline of opportunities, providing accurate sales forecasts. Engage with the other members of the commercial and product management teams.
Person Specifications
Degree Level Qualification (BSc) in a life science related science/engineer degree but will consider someone who has extensive sales skills and experience gained within sciences.
5 + years’ experience in sales, B2B development or other commercial roles involving customer interface.
Additional 4-5 years’ experience selling consumables directly to Academia Pharma, Biotech/Biopharma, customers is ideal.
