Role Overview
This is an outstanding opportunity for an enthusiastic Account Manager to take ownership of established accounts in South UK and identify new customers and markets. You will be passionate about establishing strong relationships, driven, and keen to increase revenue from your allocated area. We are looking for somebody who would like to progress and develop within our rapidly expanding business. You will be home based and cover the territory of South UK.
We are currently seeking a Field Account Manager for our Lab Products & Services division, home based in South UK. In this position, you will be responsible for a selected number of strategic accounts within the Life Sciences and Applied Research markets, which includes Pharmaceutical and Biotech industries, medium to large Research & Development institutes, Food and Beverage Testing Laboratories, Chemicals and Petroleum, Semiconductors and Plastics, and many more. Your goal will be to proactively increase our sales and support of customers, particularly for our Lab Products portfolio including lab filtration, microbiology, liquid handling, balances, and water purification systems.
Working closely with wider sales and support teams within the company.

Role Responsibilities
– What you will accomplish together with us
– This is a proactive, creative selling role requiring a keen technical interest in customers’ processes and acting as a consultant to improve quality and save our customers time and money. This is a solutions sales role.
– Working both in a direct sales role and supporting our distribution partners throughout your sales area.
– Selling precision laboratory balances, ultrapure water systems, microbiology products, laboratory filtration products, and micro pipettes.
– Proactively managing a limited and defined range of accounts throughout Ireland on a strategic account basis.
– Working closely with decision makers and purchasing contacts at all levels and across all functions.
– Expanding your networks and selling/ upselling additional products and services.
– Providing technical information and support.
– Organising demonstrations, exhibitions, seminars, and informational sessions.
– Completing quotations and negotiating deals.
Person Specifications
Personal Specification
– Academic degree in life sciences or equivalent; higher level qualification would be beneficial.
– Ideally demonstrated field sales experience in the laboratory market; some laboratory-based experience is mandatory.
– Technical background.
– Ideally experienced in selling capital instrumentation to clients in different or related sectors.
– Capable of providing outstanding customer service.
– Self-motivated, energetic, results oriented, capacity to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility.
– Good teamwork skills and proven ability to also work with cross-functional teams.
– Willingness and ability to travel frequently.
– Results orientated – motivated by winning orders and hitting targets.
– Strong identification with our core values: sustainability, openness, enjoyment.
