Role Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in scientific sales, who is looking to work for a specialist manufacturer! Full training is provided. Drive, motivation and excellent communication skills are essential.
You will be visiting customers about 80% of your time across this region.
TERRITORY: Cambridge & East Anglia
PRODUCTS: Life Science consumables and instrumentation.
CUSTOMERS: Academia, Healthcare & Applied (Uni’s, Research labs, NHS, Private hospitals, food labs.)
Role Requirements
Manage and implement the sales strategies to achieve improved sales and market share.
Increase brand awareness and product knowledge, both to customers and distributors.
Participate in and provide technical, sales and marketing support to meet agreed targets.
Liaise with distributors and ensure they receive appropriate product training and support.
Maintain an up-to-date customer database at all times.
Person Specifications
Educated to Degree standard in a Life Sciences subject.
Experience in scientific sales is preferred, with a demonstrable sales track record and experience of the laboratory market-place.
A driven life scientist, with post degree laboratory experience will strongly be considered, if able to convince of drive and motivation to move into the industry!
Excellent communication skills.
