Account Manager
Role Overview
PRODUCTS: Life science and IVD reagents, kits and instrumentation
CUSTOMERS: NHS, Biotechology, Research & Pharmaceutical Laboratories
TERRITORY: Northern England
You will focus on managing accounts across the region, developing and strengthening these relationships within the clinical, biotechnology, research and pharmaceutical market.

We’re working with an established company with the aim of sourcing reliable, quality in-vitro diagnostic products and research tools for clinical, industrial and research laboratories.
Role Requirements
Responsibilities:
Maintain existing customer relationships – strengthening key accounts to maximise revenue.
Follow up on qualified new business opportunities.
Assist with instrument demonstrations for customers.
Attendance at industry networking events, conferences and exhibitions
Maintain excellent knowledge of the market, competitor activity and market developments.
Person Specifications
Biomedical or Biological focused science degree is preferred
Experience selling within the Life Sciences and/or IVD market
Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to communicate scientific products and material to customers
Package
Base salary flexible based on experience, around £42,000-£50,000 per annum
Bonus scheme (paid quarterly) around 20% of base salary
Company Car Allowance of £6,000 per annum
Contributory Pension – 7% employer
