Application Sales Specialist

Our client is now looking for a reliable Sales Application Specialist who can help us expand our operations in Central and North of the Netherlands. This position will plan and execute strategies to market and sell their lab, POCT, urinalysis and diabetes care products into new and established hospitals, laboratories, and related markets.
Role Requirements
– Promote and sell their products to achieve assigned sales target in Benelux area (mainly within Netherlands) by increasing brand awareness and providing general support such as answering inquiries and providing professional advice.
– Identify and establish a strong relationship with prospect customers and organize appointments and meetings routinely to maintain positive customer rapport exemplifying their core values.
– Maintain a detailed understanding of customer decision makers and influencers; build and preserve customer relationships by organizing appointments and meetings routinely and maintain positive customer relationship showing our clients core values.
– Identify and develop KOL’s (Key Opinion Leaders) that can advocate their products for solutions in the market.
– Effectively demonstrate and present ARKRAY products, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and undertake relevant research to meet both the scientific and business needs of customers. Follow-up and coordinate all field activities during the pre- and post-sales process of their equipment by working cooperatively with the Customer Solutions team and other internal members.
– Address customer questions and concerns expeditiously and professionally to avoid and resolve conflicts, improve customer satisfaction, and capture new opportunities.
– Attend and organize trade exhibitions, conferences, and meetings to represent competency in their products and provide management with market trends and competitive field activity information enabling the company to support territory strategies/tactics and react quickly to competitive actions.
– Provide necessary technical reports to participate in tenders or offers.
– Prepare technical reports to participate in tenders or offers and develop plans to influence upcoming such.
– Responsible for timely, accurate completion of administrative tasks, such as weekly reports, analyzer forecasts, CRM updates, and expense reports.
– Cost-effectively manage territory travel by planning in advance, adhering to company travel guidelines, and using sound business judgment.
– Support the applicative part of new installations at the customer’s side.
– Perform other duties assigned or accepted as out of the guidelines.
Person Specifications
– Bachelor’s degree or above in the field of Life Sciences or related discipline
– 3+ years direct selling experience selling to clinical diagnostics market with capital equipment experience (experience selling hemoglobin A1C and urinalysis analyzers is an extra).
Previous experience with Point of Care (POC) would be an advantage.
– Experience with the lab environment or as a lab technician is seen as added value
– Strong contacts within the hospital and reference laboratory markets.
– English business level speaker
– Dutch professional level
– Able to travel with access to an airport. This position will routinely require extensive or overnight travel on short notice within or sometimes beyond defined territory or routine business hours to support customer needs.
