Role Overview
Title – Area Manager
Location – North London
Reporting To – Regional Manager
Main Responsibility of Role
o Gain competence and confidence on products and services, through engaging with formal training and in-field training opportunities
o Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual financial targets
o Attain agreed objectives in order to gain access to performance related commission
o Interact with colleagues in order to personally develop and share best practices
o Present, promote and at times sell and services using educated and considered arguments to existing and prospective customers
o Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
o Have the ability to unearth new business opportunities
o Be able to communicate to a high level, on every level
o Collate, track and develop sales projects
o Co-ordinate sales efforts with team members and through effective cross functional working
o Coordinate designated area meeting follow ups, product support, logistics, installations, regional educational events
o Be able to interact with a wide internal and external stakeholder groups
o Report to Regional Sales Manager

Role Requirements

o Attend and support educational events as required
o Contribute towards regional sales meetings
o Analyse regional market trends and contribute towards regional intelligence gathering
o Supply management with report on customer needs, issues, interests, competitor activities
o Keep current i.e. abreast of best practice
o Continually improve through feedback and learning
o Have a strong desire to maintain the highest of standards, to win, and to progress career
o Work on agreed Sales Projects, reporting regularly on progress
Person Specifications
Experience: At least three successful years selling into Operating Theatres
Qualifications: MIA, or soon after employment attain
Key Abilities: An ability to identify opportunities and convert these opportunities into sales
Skills: Learning, developing, supporting colleagues, functioning in high performing team, communication, winning
Package
Competitive base salary
Bonus – OTE (£16,000) and Personal Bonus Agreement (expected takehome, £5k+ uncapped)
Car allowance – £550 per month
