Role Overview

We are looking to source an established and competent Area Manager in the South West UK to join the team and effectively drive new business and manage existing accounts across the territory. The patch is well established and has been successful over the past few years so the successful candidate will be coming in to some warm opportunities as well as some real opportunities for significant growth.

The company’s Imaging division offers a broad spectrum of system solutions geared toward modern, interdisciplinary use.

Role Requirements

Main Responsibility of Role
o Be an ambassador for brand in every way
o Gain competence and confidence on products and services, through engaging with formal training and in-field training opportunities
o Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual financial targets
o Present, promote and at times sell products and services using educated and considered arguments to existing and prospective customers
o Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
o Be able to communicate to a high level, on every level
o Collate, track and develop sales projects
o Co-ordinate sales efforts with team members and through effective cross functional working
o Co-ordinate designated area meeting follow ups, product support, logistics, installations, regional educational events

Person Specifications

Experience: At least three successful years selling capital equipment into Operating Theatres, ideally endoscopy focus/ interest
Key Abilities: An ability to identify opportunities and convert these opportunities into sales
Skills: Learning, developing, supporting colleagues, functioning in high performing team, communication, winning

Package

Competitive base salary
Bonus – OTE (circa £16,000 – uncapped) and Personal Bonus Agreement (uncapped)
Car allowance – £550 per month
