Area Sales Manager
Role Overview
– Implementing the Sales Process using CRM
– Manage tender responses for each relevant sales opportunity using Tendereyes
– Strive to improve through changes, transition and transformation
– Support and develop strategic plans to improve the sales function and the company’s revenue
– Ensure customer advocacy and customer retention through excellent customer care
– Develop and implement standard procedures, processes and KPIs to better serve customers
– Achieve and exceed all KPIs related to the sales role
– Visit customers to proactively identify their needs and develop and implement customer specific solutions
– Work with Primary Suppliers to enable mutually successful business relationships in all managed service contracts and promote Sebia as the “company of choice”.

Role Requirements
– To comply with the company’s policies and procedures to meet statuary, quality and business requirements within the overall strategy and objectives
– Responsibility for health, safety and environmental performance of themselves and others through compliance with programs, regulations and standards. Subject to the policy and procedures outlined in the company handbook.
Experience:
– Proven experience in selling to the NHS at all levels, especially in the field of IVD, OR a comercially aware Biomedical Scientist looking to move into scientific sales
– knowledge of Serum Protein Electrophoresis, HB screening or HbA1c would be an advantage.
– Experience in negotiating and managing contracts, both directly and as a third-party supplier
– Experience in managing the submission of successful tender proposals
– Experience in dealing with multiple customers and ability to manage VIP customer relationships
– Demonstration of strong team-working, especially in a matrix environment
Person Specifications
– Degree or equivalent with a technical, electronics or scientific background
– English language
– Strong oral and written communication skills
– Solution/Results oriented and numbers driven
– Ability to travel and stay away from home (as necessary)
– Demonstrated tendency to challenge the status quo, drive constant improvement in processes, and an ability to achieve organizational goals and objectives
– Proven experience in IT skills. (MS word, Excel, Power point, use of Microsoft Dynamics CRM)
Package
Base salary up to £48,000 dependant on experience
Bonus scheme of around £15,000 with multipliers for overachieving
Uncapped commission scheme – So great opportunity to earn in excess of £15,000
