Area Sales Representative
Role Overview
We are now looking to appoint an Area Sales Representative to manage and grow a defined territory, reporting directly to the Field Sales Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving growth while building long-term relationships within pathology and laboratory environments. The role would suit either an experienced diagnostics sales professional or an ambitious trainee with relevant laboratory experience who is ready to move into a commercial role.

Role Requirements
· Plan and manage territory activity through structured journey planning to maximise selling time and efficiency
· Build, maintain, and develop strong relationships with key accounts, including managing major customers and identifying at-risk or high-potential accounts
· Monitor sales performance, identify new business and product opportunities, and implement strategies to achieve and exceed targets
· Represent the company at exhibitions, meetings, and conferences, always promoting a professional and positive company image
· Maintain accurate records, reports, and expenses using the CRM system, ensuring company assets are used and cared for appropriately
Person Specifications
· Background in diagnostics sales or hands-on laboratory experience, ideally within microbiology, molecular biology, or immunology
· Commercially minded, organised, and confident building relationships at all levels
· Motivated, self-driven, and keen to develop within a growing diagnostics business
