Role Overview
We are seeking an Area Sales Representative to manage and grow a defined territory, reporting directly to the Field Sales Manager. The role focuses on achieving sales targets while developing strong customer relationships within pathology and laboratory environments. This position suits either an experienced diagnostics sales professional or a motivated trainee with relevant laboratory experience.

Role Requirements
Plan and manage territory activity through structured journey planning to maximise selling time and efficiency.
Build, maintain, and grow relationships with key accounts, including managing major customers and identifying at-risk or high-potential accounts.
Monitor sales performance, identify new product opportunities, and implement strategies to achieve targets.
Represent the company at exhibitions, meetings, and conferences, maintaining a professional and positive company image.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and expenses using the CRM system, and ensure company assets are cared for appropriately.
Person Specifications
Background in diagnostics sales or hands-on experience within a laboratory environment, ideally in microbiology, molecular biology, or immunology.
