Assistant Product Manager
Role Overview
We are looking for a Assistant Product Manager for a highly innovative diagnostics company.
Reporting to the Senior Product Manager you will be responsible for providing the team and customers with the necessary technical expertise to grow the business. You will be primarily office based in south-west London although there will be a requirement for significant UK travel (up to 20% of the time). The role includes sales and customer support, marketing and quality assurance
Role Requirements
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Product launches
– Customer studies and support
– Provide printed and electronic promotional material and supporting journal articles to the team.
– Responsible for reviewing Quality Assurance distribution results and presenting them to the team.
– Close liaison with the in-field team to assess the response to and suitability of current promotional material.
– Design market research projects to assess customer attitudes to the current product range and new product introductions.
– Marketing: Magazine Adverts, Competitions, give-away and Social media
– Responsible for preparing product forecasts.
Person Specifications
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
– BSc or Master’s Degree in Biology or related subject. A Ph.D. would be advantageous. –
– A knowledge of the practical clinical application in the field, ideally gained through direct work experience in an NHS clinical laboratory.
– Computer literate, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word.
– Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
– Outgoing, people-oriented personality.
– Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
