Role Overview
You will shape the business development strategy and function, sitting on the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). You will lead initiatives to expand the product portfolio, manage in-licensing and acquisitions, and drive growth for the UK and global affiliates.

Zenopa has partnered with a pharmaceutical company that specialises in the development, manufacturing, and marketing of extended-release dosage forms and generic pharmaceuticals. Our client has become a prominent player in the global pharmaceutical industry, particularly known for its expertise in controlled-release drug delivery systems. The company’s portfolio includes a range of products across various therapeutic categories, including central nervous system disorders, cardiovascular diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, and others.
Role Requirements
Develop and implement the business development strategy, focusing on strategic planning and growth opportunities.
Lead product in-licensing and acquisitions to expand the portfolio.
Identify and leverage off-patent opportunities to drive growth.
Conduct market intelligence and analysis to inform strategic decisions.
Collaborate cross-functionally with UK Sales, Management, Supply, and global business development functions.
Proactively identify opportunities to expand and develop the product portfolio.
Person Specifications
Experience in business development and strategic planning.
Proven background in product in-licensing and acquisitions.
Experience in generics and/or OTC products.
A driven individual with a strong desire to shape and grow the business.
Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
