Role Overview
The Business Development Manager responsibilities include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve your financial targets. Duties will include hitting annual targets, building relationships and understanding customer trends. Their mission is to keep all their customers practices running smoothly, day-in, day-out.
They have their own state-of-the-art repair workshop with skilled, trained technicians. With good stockholding of repair parts for most handpieces, they offer extremely fast turnaround at competitive prices. They are a growing company with ambitious targets over the next five years, initially driven by the successful hire of this role.
Role Requirements
Responsibilities
” Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets and accounts
” Ensure constantly working towards improving the Company profitability, offering strategies to achieve this
” Working with the Managing Director to develop the brand onboard new clients
” Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
” Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
” Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
” Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
” Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
” Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
” Develop and maximise internal relationships within the team and assist with recruitment/ building of sales team
” Be available and attend future training and development required to maximise the role
Person Specifications
” Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
” Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director within the dental industry
” Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organisation, including executive level
” Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
” Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
” Proven ability to position products against competitors
” Demonstrable experience in developing relationships with Key Decision Makers within NHS trusts and corporate groups.
” Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
” Excellent verbal and written communications skills
” Willingness to travel or remain office based to maximise return on investment.
Package
Highly competitive base salary – flexible for the right person and package able to be constructed around the individuals expectations
Commission uncapped based on increased business YOY.

Remote/ home working facilitated if required with minimum 2 days/month office based
