Coagulation Sales Specialist
Role Overview
Stago are seeking a Coagulation Sales Specialist in the Midlands area, covering Birmingham, Stoke, Gloucestershire, Liverpool, Wales, Coventry and Oxford areas.
The successful candidate will be part of Stago’s sales team, responsible for managing their existing customer base and growing their Haemostasis and Thrombosis business within central UK.
Duties will include-
-Identifying key prospects on your designated territory and promote Stago systems and solutions
-Product presentations and demonstrations
-Sales analysis
-Monitoring and reporting on market trends
-Achieving sales targets on Instruments, Reagents and Consumables
-Visiting potential customers and built up a prospective database – 60% travel
-Monitor and analyse Stago’s and competitors sales performance and to recommend or implement corrective action
Full product training will be provided, but candidates should be able to demonstrate a strong scientific background and track record in sales.
Knowledge of Haemostasis/Haemotology is advantageous

Role Requirements
Other key duties and responsibilities include-
-Carrying out tender process from site visits, write down tender specification responses, study offer schedules, organise lunch time presentation, perform demonstrations and attend procurement meetings
-To report formally every month and informally on a daily basis on Sales, Marketing, Service and administration issues
-To carry out tender process from site visits, to write down the tender specification responses, study offer schedules, organise presentations and perform demonstrations
-To organise presentations, carry out analyser evaluation and demonstrate products during exhibitions
-To make proposals, negotiate business contracts and review lab activities.
Person Specifications
Stago are seeking an individual with a biomedical science or life science degree, who either has 2-3 years sales experience into NHS Pathology labs or a life science rep looking to move into clinical diagnostics sales. Experience in Haemostasis or Coagulation is desirable, however other disciplines will be considered!
Package
Depending on experience, Stago are willing to pay up to £45,000 for the right candidate!
In addition, a 10% pension scheme is given, 20% uncapped bonus scheme and company car are included, among other benefits!
25 holidays a year are allocated, as well as private medical insurance!
