Coagulation Sales Specialist
Role Overview
TERRITORY: North East UK & Scotland
PRODUCTS: Coagulation & Haemostasis
CUSTOMERS: NHS and private clinical laboratories
As part of our dedicated Sales Team, you will be responsible for managing existing customer
base as well as growing our Haemostasis and Thrombosis business across North East UK and Scotland.
You will be involved in identifying key prospects on your territory and following the sales
process through the promotion of their systems and solutions, product presentations and
demonstrations, sales analysis and responding to tender requirements, as well as contributing
to market trend monitoring and reporting.
Full product training will be provided with this role, however you should be able to
demonstrate a strong scientific background and a track record in sales; a knowledge of
haemostasis/haematology would be an advantage.
Due to the travel involved in this role, please only apply if you either live on territory or are
willing to relocate to the area.

Role Requirements
Responsibilities:
To achieve sales target on Instrument, Reagents, and Consumables in accordance with commercial policy
To visit potential customer and built up prospect data base. Record all data into company CRM
To carry out tender process from site visits, to write down the tender specification responses, to study the offer schedules, to organise lunch time presentation, to perform demonstration and to attend procurement meeting.
To organise a presentation, to carry out analyser evaluation, to demonstrate product during exhibition
To make a proposal, to negotiate the business contract, to review and to monitor the laboratory activities
To monitor, to analyse sales performances and to recommend and or implement corrective action
To keep an eye on competition activities. Report and share the information.
to report formally every month and informally on daily basis on Sales, Marketing, Service and administration issues.
Person Specifications
Biomedical OR life science degree
2-3 years diagnostics sales experience into NHS Pathology labs is desirable, or a life science sales representative looking to move into clinical diagnostics sales
Familiar with the NHS and tender process is desirable
Preferred experience in haemostasis or coagulation, however other disciplines will be considered
Package
Base salary circa £45,000
Bonus: 20% OTE (uncapped)
