Commissioning Engineer
Role Overview
You will be carrying out site visits Nationwide to undertake a wide range of commissioning and validation activities. You will be liaising with clients on site and formally reporting back to them directly with the outcome of the visit.
Role Requirements
• Commissioning, Validation and Servicing activities (include but not limited to):
o HVAC Commissioning
o Service and commission Cleanrooms, Safety cabinets, Isolators and Fume cupboards
o Air volumes, Air flows & calculate Air change rates
o Room differential pressure cascades
o HEPA Filter integrity testing
o Non-viable aerosol particle counting
• Report and thoroughly document the results for the above activities (occasional client witnessing required)
• Work with specialist commissioning engineers for example controls engineers to set the HVAC systems to work
• Understand and adhere to risk assessments and methods of work to comply with Health and Safety requirements / legislation
• Ability and willingness to travel to site, this is a Nationwide position and often the requirement to stay away from home overnight is required
• Validation experience – Not essential as training will be provided
Person Specifications
• Full valid UK Drivers Licence – Essential
• Basic understanding of commissioning activities, further job specific training to be provided where necessary
• CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) Card – Desirable (not essential)
• IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) Qualification – Desirable (not essential
