Role Overview
We are looking for a candidate to be based in the Midlands / North UK with experience as an electrical engineer, ideally with IT knowledge.
They currently have a team of 5 engineers you will be working alongside. They are looking for someone who is flexible with travelling, they will look to keep you within a region but further travel will be required to meet business needs.

We are currently recruiting for a growing life science company who specialise in temperature monitoring automated devices across the globe, who are looking for a Service Engineer to join their UK team.
Role Requirements
– Service, repair, maintenance and installation on environmental, Co2, oxygen and pressured instrumentation.
– Gathers and analyses information skilfully
– Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
– Coordinates projects; Manages project team activities.
– Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations;
– Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Demonstrates group presentation skills; Participates in meetings.
– Writes clearly and informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Varies writing style to meet needs; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information.

Person Specifications
– Previous service engineer experience (field or site based) working with electrical equipment.
– Knowledge of networking (e.g. can programme IP addresses); can understand IT language
– Must be able to travel up to 50% to 80% of the time, including trips away up to three weeks at a time.
