Field Service Engineer
Role Overview
Responsible for performing inspections, investigations, calibrations, and repairs, in addition to troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance of GE cath labs, optima CTs, signa MRs, Optima Nuclear Medicine systems and various radiology imaging equipment. Assure preventive maintenance complies with current OEM specification to meet equipment safety and mandatory performance levels. Modality specific duties may apply.
Role Requirements
A successful individual will have skills to use remote diagnostics, laptop-based test protocols, power tools, measuring devices, knowledge of manufacturers’ service documentation, troubleshooting techniques, and preventative-maintenance procedures. Consult with medical or research staff to ascertain that equipment functions properly and safely, utilizing knowledge of electronics, medical terminology, human anatomy, and physics. May demonstrate and explain correct operation of equipment to medical personnel.
Person Specifications
Requirements:
· Associates degree and/or requisite industry experience
· Five years’ work experience in the medical imaging field
· Ability to effectively communicate at all levels within healthcare setting
· Ability to deliver high level of customer satisfaction with complete professionalism at all times
· Strong interpersonal skills supported with a positive attitude
· Time management and organizational skills (ability to work independently or in a group)
· Ability to take direction from others, multitask and proactively complete assignments in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to work weeknights and weekends to a reasonable extent
· Valid drivers license
Package
Salary: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
