Field Service Engineer
Role Overview
Reporting to the Service Manager day to day responsibilities include, Planned preventative maintenance (PPM), fault finding & troubleshooting breakdowns, repair, installation and end user technical support and training within a number of key accounts. Products include GC-MS, LC-MS, ICP-MS and will be in commercial, academic and research laboratories.
Building and maintaining relationships with end users and reporting into customers at management level to showcase the service levels, a strong customer focus is a must with high attention to detail and drive to supply the best level of customer service.
Responsible for organising own workload and stock levels in car, travel further afield to cover sickness and holidays, with international travel required for training.

Would you like to work for a world leading manufacturer of laboratory systems? Due to expansion this company are looking for an additional engineer to join their team to offer high class customer support to their designated region within Ireland.
Experienced Field Service Engineers are encourage to apply however we are also open to those who have 3+ years’ experience within the laboratory using Mass Spectrometry systems, ideally you would have completed basic troubleshooting of these systems and you will want to progress your career into this area.
Person Specifications
Requirements
Previous field service experience or lab experience
HNC or above in Chemistry or engineering (or other applicable subject)
Strong customer focus and desire to provide the best after sales support.
